Five students of Accra Poly apologise for misconduct

Five students of Accra Polytechnic, have apologized for misconducting themselves during the school’s graduation ceremony in Accra, at the weekend.

The students said it was not appropriate for them not to have sat throughout the ceremony until their diplomas were duly conferred on them.

This was contained in a press statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Monday.

It was signed by Godwin Gyimah, Electrical Engineering Graduate, Reginald Danso, Building Technician, Joana Korkor Amoah, Marketing, Moses Osabutey, Electrical Engineering, and Bennette Amoah Danso, Building Technician, and

“We deeply regret for vacating our seats before the ceremony could come to an end. We promise that such an unfortunate incident will not be repeated if given the chance for conferment.

“We humbly appeal to the Chairman of the Governing Council, Management of Accra Polytechnic and the …public to pardon us and confer us for the subsequent release of our certificates.

“We hope this apology will be considered and accepted,” the statement said.
