Nsawam (E/R), Sept. 15, GNA 96 Five schools in the Akuapim South District in the Eastern Region have been selected for the school feeding programme. The schools are Darmang Presby Primary, Nsakye Presby Primary, Oboadaka Presby Primary, Ahyiresu L/A Primary and Osae Djan Presby Primary.
Briefing the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Nsawam on Thursday, Mr Andres Nyarko Adu, District Chief Executive for Akuapim South, advised parents, who had failed to send their wards to schools to hurriedly enrol them in order to benefit from the scheme. He said enrolment was free but parents had to provide their wards with school uniforms. He said the children were the future leaders of the country and therefore, they deserved higher and better education.
