Five killed in car crash in Ashanti Region

Five people have been confirmed dead in a ghastly car crash at Apagya on the New Edubiase-Assin Fosu road in the Adansi South District of the Ashanti Region.

The bodies have been deposited at the New Edubiase Mortuary.

An eyewitness, Agyei Kumi, told XYZ News that 18 others who sustained injuries are on admission at the New Edubiase Government Hospital.

The accident happened during the early hours of Monday April 22, 2013.

It involved a Hyundai Accent taxi cab and a KIA truck.
