A gory accident on the Odumase-Assesewa road in the Eastern region has taken the lives of five persons.
According to an eyewitness, three of the accident victims died on the spot whereas two died at the ST Martin De- Porres Hospital at Agomanya.
The accident according to eye witness occurred in the afternoon of Thursday when a Tipper Truck Vehicle collided with Vehicle transporting passengers and maze.
According to the eye witness, the truck driver veered off his lane hence leading to the crash.
The two remaining passengers are receiving treatment but the driver of the truck took to his heel immediately the accident occurred and has since not been apprehended.
The accident occurred just a day after the team bus of Kumasi Asante Kotoko was involved in an accident in the eastern region.
