Five Ambassadors Present Credentials

Accra, (Greater Accra) 7 Oct.,

New Ambassadors from Iran, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia and Hungary, today presented their letters of credence to President Jerry John Rawlings at the State House. They are: Mr. Kiomars Fotouhi, Ambassador of Iran, Mr. Alexander Heldring, Ambassador of the Netherlands and Mr. Pavel Denisovich Pavlov, Ambassador of Russia. The rest are Mr. Anton Hajduk, Slovakia’s Ambassador and Hungary’s Ambassador, Mr. Janos Ballassa. The envoys pledged to strengthen the already cordial relations existing between their countries and Ghana and work towards expanding economic co-operation. Among those present were Mr. Victor Gbeho, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and some top officials of the Ministry.
