Fisherman found hanging at Winneba Boatyard

Winneba (C/R), Dec 9, GNA- A 28-year old fisherman from Winneba, Mr. Kobina Bondzie was on Thursday found hanging on a tree near the Boatyard at the Winneba beach.

Mr. Nicholas Gasu, Winneba District Police Commander told the Ghana News Agency on Friday that the police had information on Thursday that someone had committed suicide by hanging, so he sent personnel to the scene where they found Bondzie hanging dead. According to him the body had been deposited at the Winneba Government Hospital mortuary for autopsy and while investigations continue.
