First Star Academy cleans up Tema General Hospital

Tema, Dec. 09, GNA- The First Star Academy School, in Tema on Thursday embarked on a three- hour clean up exercise, at the Tema General Hospital as part of activities marking its 10th anniversary celebration.

The school also presented assorted items valued at 2.5 million cedis to the Children’s Ward of the Hospital.

Mrs Grace Awuah, the Proprietress said out of the 98 students that wrote this year’s 2004 Basic Education Certificate Examination, 52 had distinction while the remaining 46 obtained aggregate one grades. The Principal Nursing Officer, Ms Janet Antwi who received the items on behalf of the Hospital thanked the school for the philanthropic gesture.
