First Lady Lordina Mahama was given a rousing welcome at the Sunyani airport on monday as she embark on a one week working visit in the Brong-Ahafo region.
Her excellency was met on arrival by the Brong Ahafo Regional minister,Kwadwo Nyamekye-Marfo,member of the council of state,Cecilia Johnson,minister for chieftaincy and culture,Alexander Asum-Ahensah and hundreds of party supporters. The first lady was accompanied by Minister of Environment,Science and Technology,Ms Sherry Ayitey.
Mrs Mahama will be meeting women groups in Nkoranza,Techiman,Kintampo,Pru, Sene districts and also commision projects in the region.She also paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Sunyani, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawire and appealed to the people of the region to retain the NDC, for the government to complete the better Ghana agenda.
