First Lady leaves for Benin

Accra, June 10, GNA – The First Lady, Mrs Theresa Kufuor left Accra on Thursday for Cotonou, Benin on a day’s official visit. The visit is to enable the First Lady, who is also the Vice President of the Organisation of African First Ladies, to honour her schedule programme of visit to first ladies in the West Africa Sub-Region.

While in Benin, Mrs Kufuor is expected to discuss the HIV/AIDS situation there and also share her ideas and experiences from the intervention she is making as part of her campaign against HIV/AIDS with

Mrs Margaret Kerekuo, First Lady of Benin.

Mrs Kufuor has so far visited Burkina Faso and Nigeria where she held discussions with their First Ladies Mrs Chantal Campoare and Mrs Stella Obansanjo
