Accra, June 18, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor and his wife, Theresa, on Friday went to a temporary booth at Airport Residential Area, Accra to have their photographs taken in the current Electoral Commission Voters’ Photo-taking Exercise.
The area forms part of the Ayawaso Wuogon Constituency. President Kufuor after going through with the exercise, appealed to eligible voters to co-operate with the EC to ensure peaceful, fair and free elections.
He said both the registration and photo-taking exercises were necessary steps required by the voters to exercise their democratic rights.
