….July 4th weekend Reunion
Ghana’s number one Home page, Ghanaweb.com has been invited to the first Annual University of Cape Coast Alumni Association July 4th weekend Reunion. The first of it’s kind, this event would be an annual occasion for old students and friends of UCC. It is also the first Reunion Dinner Dance in North America.
Special guests attending include;The Vice Chancellor and the President of the Alumni Association in Ghana. Among the entertainers invited to perform are prominent musicians from Ghana. Also invited to represent the Ghana Home page is Ghanaweb’s award-winning cameraman, Mr. Charles Nimmo N-Mensah aka Mr. CNN.
Donation is $50.00 for all you can eat and drink. All proceeds go towards the setting up of a Hi-Tech computer lab at Cape Coast University.
Other activities planned are; inter-Halls soccer, a tour of New York City, Brass Band Asa bono (AsaBee),
The interesting thing is; after this year, the Reunion would be sponsored by a year after a year group.i.e., if this year’s event is sponsored by Class of ’80, the following year would also be, sponsored by Class of ’81.
