Fire has destroyed properties worth thousands of cedis at the Tuobodom Senior High School in the Techiman North district.
According to the headmaster of the school Mr. Bismarck Yeboah, who spoke in an interview with Suncity Radio’s Nana Kas, the fire started from the registry and spread to other departments of the school such as the administrative block, library, stores, the typing pool, offices of the headmaster and his assistant headmaster.
Mr. Yeboah added, but for the quick intervention of the Fire service, the fire would have extended to other departments as well.
Other items he mentioned were burnt are refrigerators and television sets. Mr. Yeboah explained that the schools library was completely burnt.He called on Philanthropists to come to their aid.
