Fire ravages Dome Central Market

The Dome Central market has been gutted by fire, StarrFMonline.com has gathered. It is unclear what triggered the fire which has reportedly destroyed items running into several thousands of Ghana Cedis Wednesday evening.

Emergency services including, personnel of the Fire service and the Police are currently at the scene and have reportedly brought the situation under control.

According to an eye witness, Jefferey Nyanteh, who confirmed the incident to StarrFMonline.com: “The fire service found it difficult to access the market” due to the poor nature of the road network there.
