Fire guts two-storey dormitory at St Charles Minor Seminary SHS

Properties estimated at several thousands of Ghana Cedis have been consumed by fire and hundreds of students of the St Charles Minor Seminary Senior High School displaced after fire Wednesday night gutted a two-storey dormitory block of the school.

The cause of the fire is not immediately known but it started from the top floor of the structure at about 10:30pm soon after students returned from preps.

Fire personnel who were called to the scene managed to douse the inferno. It is gathered that final year students preparing for the WASSSCE l are the most affected as they reportedly lost all their books and other course materials to the fire.
