Property worth millions of cedis was on June 22 destroyed when fire gutted part of the Takoradi market.
The fire which started around 1a.m., raged for about three hours. It took a combined team of personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Fire service department to put out the fire.
