Fire consumes 20 shops at Adenta Barrier

About twenty shops have been burnt with several items destroyed in a raging fire at Adenta Barrier in Accra.

It is unclear what triggered the fire, but eyewitnesses say it started from a small shop near the bus terminal at the barrier.

According to Starr News’ Bright Ampedu Okyere who is at the scene, several people have trooped to the place and are helping personnel of the Fire service to put out the flame.

The fire, according to Okyere, has spread to a nearby mechanic shop consuming several parked vehicles in its wake.
