The Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, is expected to present the 2025 mid-year budget review to Parliament on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The mid-year budget review is in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921).
The presentation will provide an update on the implementation of the 2025 Budget, with insights into the economic and fiscal performance for the first half of the year.
The Deputy Majority Leader, Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, announced this while presenting the business statement for the upcoming week.
“The mid-year again will happen on the 24th of July. I think the committee on the selection issue, Right Honourable Speaker, has been engaging with it. He is out of the jurisdiction, and so when he comes back, I am sure he will get it sorted out,” he stated.
