Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, is heading a high-level delegation to the 2025 IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Washington D.C.

The meetings, scheduled from October 13 to 18, will bring together global leaders to discuss economic priorities and strategies for sustainable growth.

The delegation includes Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Johnson Asiama, and senior officials from the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Ghana.

The meetings coincide with Ghana’s recent economic milestones, including a Staff-Level Agreement with the IMF and a credit outlook upgrade by Moody’s.

The Finance Minister will engage in bilateral discussions, investor briefings, and ministerial meetings to deepen strategic partnerships and attract new investments.

In recent times, the IMF and World Bank have commended Ghana’s economic management team for demonstrating prudent fiscal stewardship and a coherent policy framework.

Ato Forson’s efforts are expected to consolidate momentum, secure new partnerships, and accelerate Ghana’s path to sustainable growth and resilience.

The meetings will provide a vital opportunity for the country to showcase its reform progress and attract new investments, leveraging global attention and renewed investor confidence in its economic trajectory.
