FGBMFI feeds cured lepers

Ho Municipal Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI), a non denominational fellowship, last Tuesday donated food items worth 2,200 Ghana cedis to members of the cured Lepers Camp in Ho.

The items were three bags of rice, three bags of maize, two bags of gari, a bag of beans, two cartons of fish, a basket-full of tomatoes and pepper each and a gallon of cooking oil.

Togbe Jacob Ezor, Chief of the cured leper’s camp who received the items expressed gratitude to the donors for their gesture.

He said the donation was timely as it met the needs of lepers who now subsist on a meal a day.

Mr Nelson Atito, Compound Overseer, said the kitchen had run out of food and the arrival of the food items was God-sent.

Dr. Eric Timothy Ati, former National President of the Fellowship, said the annual donation which had been limited to Accra as part of its yearly convention, has been decentralized to the needy in other parts of the country.

He said this year’s convention was held form August 27 to August 29, in Accra.
