Female preacher on Chris FM at Berekum dies in road crash

Sunyani, Dec. 6, GNA – A sixty-two- year-old woman preacher on Chris FM at Berekum, Madam Cecilia Addai-Kumi died on the spot, when her head was decapitated in a road crash on the Berekum-Sunyani main road.

Chief Inspector Francis A. Apanga, Berekum station officer told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani on phone that the body of the late Madam Addai-Kumi had been deposited at the Holy family hospital in Berekum whilst 10 other passengers who received severe injuries were on admission at the same hospital.

He said the accident involved a 207 Benz bus with registration number AW 207-10, on which the late preacher and others were traveling from Berekum to Kumasi grazed a taxi cab with registration number AW 3735-11, that was carrying five passengers and heading towards Berekum from Sunyani.
