February 28 to be celebrated as National Redemption day

Accra, Feb. 24, GNA – The Ghana Evangelical Society, a Christ-centred movement on Tuesday announced February 28, as National Redemption Day.

The day, according to the society would be used to offer prayers and thank God for delivering Ghana from any political tussle and making the nation the eye of the African Continent. Rev Emmanuel Enoch, Leader of the Society said it was a divine direction given by God and that the society, in collaboration with other Christian organisations would start a vigorous crusade to create the needed awareness.

“A new Ghana is born, a new day has dawned. There is need for the stabilization and maintenance of the new order characterised by peace, righteous, justice, liberty and hope in God”, Rev. Enoch.
