Gamal Nkrumah, elder brother of former Convention People’s Party (CPP) chair, Samia Yaba Nkrumah, has revealed that their mother never approved of the political career of Madam Samia.
Fathia Nkrumah, wife of Ghana’s first president, was rather interested in her sons – Gamal Nkrumah and Dr Sekou Nkrumah – taking after their father but not her daughter, Gamal revealed.
Gamal indicated that their mother could not fathom why a lady should be at the forefront of political fights.
Gamal revealed this through a eulogy he posted on his Facebook wall in a tribute of his late mother.
