Father shot dead son for stealing from his farm

Half Assini (W/R), Dec. 19, GNA – A sixty-year-old farmer at Samenye near Mpataba in the Jomoro District who had accused his son of stealing dried coconuts from his farm on Saturday shot him dead when he met the son on his farm.

The farmer, John Oppong Andoh, reported himself to the Mpataba Police, the Jomoro District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police John Ferguson Dzineku told the GNA on Monday.

He said Andoh had accused his son, Kwesi Abrochie, to be responsible for the rampant stealing of dried coconuts from his plantation at Samenye and claimed that despite repeated war’
