Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku continued his impressive run of form in the English Championship, registering his fifth assist of the season in Leicester City’s 3–2 defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday.
Leicester found themselves stunned in the first half, conceding three quick goals that left them with a mountain to climb. But Issahaku sparked the fightback early in the second half, setting up the Foxes’ first goal with a clever cross that ignited renewed energy within the team.
The 20-year-old’s influence grew as Leicester pushed forward, eventually pulling a second goal back. Despite the spirited comeback, they were unable to complete the turnaround, ultimately falling short.
Issahaku’s form, however, remains a bright spot for Leicester. His assist against Sheffield United was his third in the last four matches, underlining his growing importance in the squad and his rising confidence in England’s second tier.
While the Foxes walked away without points, Issahaku once again left a mark and his trajectory continues upward.
