Accra, Jan 6, GNA- The National Farmers and Fishermen Award Winners Association of Ghana, (NFFAWAG) on Thursday said it would continue to support the Government to run the country successfully in its second term by producing more food for the nation and for the export market.
In a message to congratulate President John Agyekum Kufuor and the New Patriotic Party for the renewal of their mandate, the Association said with its support, the right employment opportunities would be created for the youth and the underprivileged.
The message signed by Mr Philip Abayori, National President, NFFAWAG, congratulated President Kufuor and his party on winning the elections to enable his administration to stay in office to implement its well-defined programmes, especially in the area of agriculture.
“We want to reiterate that we as winners know how great it is to be a winner after a hard fought battle, and we are very proud to share in the glory of success after a very hard race. We say congratulations to you and wish you God’s protection and guidance during your second term of office and long thereafter”.
