Farmer found dead at the outskirts of Apam

Apam (C/R) Sept. 6, GNA-A-67-year old farmer from Apam, Madam Effua Donkor was on Sunday morning found dead at the outskirts of the town, the Police told Ghana News Agency on Sunday. According to the police, Madam Effua Donkor, went to her maize farm at Gomoa Ablekum near Apam at about 0600 hours on Saturday but did not return.

The police said Madam Donkor whose bruised body is ‘believed to have been hit with cement building blocks’ was found near a Salt Warehouse. The dented body had been sent to the Central Regional hospital in Cape Coast for post mortem. Police said they suspected foul play and have therefore intensified investigations into the death of the woman.
