Farmer defiles two year-old girl

Koforidua, Aug. 29,GNA-Fredrick Teye, a 25 year-old farmer, has been arrested by police for defiling a two-year old girl.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, the Eastern Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Kwabena Gyamera Yeboah, said Teye and the victim with her family live in the same house at Borti, near Koforidua.

He said at about 1630 hours on Sunday, Teye went for the child and sen= t her to his room.

The commander said after a few minutes, the people in the house heard a child crying in Teye’s room and decided to go and check. ACP Yeboah said when they got in there, Teye was seen lying on the child and defiling her. He said they reported to the police and Teye was therefore arrested. He said Teye would be charged accordingly and put before court.
