Farmer before court for defilement

Tema, Oct. 6, GNA- A 20-year old farmer, on Tuesday appeared before the Tema Circuit Court “B’, for defiling a 13-year old school pupil. Maama Amedor, pleaded guilty to defilement but the Court, however, deferred the sentence to October 12, to await the medical report on the pupil.

Police Chief Inspector Ben Agbedanu told the Court presided over by Mr. Stephen Teye, that the accused person lured the victim to an uncompleted building on September 9, 2004 and defiled her. The Prosecutor said a witness in the case, heard the victim screaming and helped to cause the arrest of Maama.
