Farmer, 31, who beheaded son remanded in custody

A 31-year-old farmer, Abdul Salam, who was arrested at Adidaase near Manso Amenfi in the Wassa Amenfi Central district of the Western Region for the gruesome murder of his six-year-old son has been remanded in prison custody by His Worship Joseph Mensah to reappear before court on 18th May, 2017.

According to Chief Inspector Florence Tawiah, Mr Salam has confirmed to the police that he consulted one Malam Mumuni to perform money rituals for him during which he was asked to bring human parts.

The farmer subsequently dismembered the body of his son on Tuesday 25th April for the supposed rituals.
