Fanteakwa Health sector appeal to Government

Begoro (E/R), April 29, GNA – The Ghana Health Service in the Fanteakwa District has appealed to the government and the Fanteakwa District Assembly to take urgent steps to rehabilitate the Reproductive and Child Health Care Unit of the Begoro Hospital, which was destroyed by rainstorm a month ago.

The District Director of Health Services, Dr Frederick Kwame Fosu, made the appeal through the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Begoro on Thursday, when he took GNA to inspect the damaged building. He said normal work at the Unit had retrogressed to the detriment of the public, since the incident and therefore, appealed for urgent action to restore normal work at the unit.
