Fanteakwa gets SMC/PTA

Begoro (E/R), April 22, GNA- The Fanteakwa District Chief Executive, Mr Ebenezer Ofoe Ceasar, has urged stakeholders in education to use their resources to improve the standard of education in the area. Inaugurating an 11-member joint School Management Committee (SMC)/Parent Teacher Association (PTA) for the Fanteakwa district at Begoro on Wednesday, he asked them to consult the local people in ensuring quality education in the communities.

Mr Ceasar assured them of the support of the District Assembly to enable them to effectively discharge their work well.

A member of the Quality Improvement in Primary Schools Project (QUIPS), Mr Nkansah Sarkodie, announced that the next phase of the USAID-assisted project would benefit 20 districts and 70 schools in each beneficiary district.
