Family of murdered boy appeals to police

Koforidua, Dec. 22, GNA – The family of 22 year-old Emmanuel Botchway, who was recently murdered at Korle-Nkwanta, a suburb of Koforidua, has appealed to the Koforidua District Police Administration to intensify their search for the suspect, one Mavis Akakpo, alias Yaa Tano.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency on Sunday, Mr Koranteng Botchway, head of the bereaved family, said there were clear indications that the murder suspect was hiding within the vicinity.

Mr Botchway, therefore, appealed to the police to arrest the suspect for justice to prevail.

The deceased was stabbed on December 3, at about 2200 hours allegedly by the suspect, an orange seller, during an argument between the two. The boy later died in hospital.
