Family of late NPP executive member calls on Minister

Accra, July 26, GNA – The family of the late Moses Aryeetey, an Executive Member of New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Odododiodoo Constituency, on Tuesday expressed its gratitude to the Government for its support during the burial and funeral rites for the member. “We respectfully acknowledge and appreciate your Excellency the President’s concern and support in our bereavement, for which we are most grateful and thank you very much,” said Nii Armah Quaye, who led the family to pay a courtesy call on the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheikh I. C. Quaye at his residence.

The deceased was buried on June 25. President John Agyekum Kufuor and Vice President Aliu Mahama attended the funeral.

Sheikh Quaye described the late Aryeetey as a true steward of the NPP saying the Party had lost a great son, whose absence would be felt.
