Nkoranza, Sept 10, GNA – A 70-year-old woman, Madam Akosua Ahenewaa, was crushed to death by a falling wall of her room following a heavy downpour at Busunya in Nkoranza District.
Nana Rockson Kofi Duodu, Busunya zonal co-ordinator of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), told the Ghana News Agency her granddaughter aged about 11 who was with her escaped unhurt. He said every property in the room was destroyed and damage caused was estimated at 10 million cedis. The deceased has been buried.
