Fake Doctor Arrested At KATH After Working For 3-Years

A quack Medical Doctor has been arrested at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after allegedly working at the facility for almost three years.

Narrating the incident, Radio XYZ’s Ashanti Regional correspondent, Isaac Justice Bediako, said some Junior Doctors who were on duty noticed the doctor who’s name was given as Romeo Osei Tutu attending to a patient.

According to Bediako, the Doctors became suspicious after they realized that the fake Doctor was not part of them and decided to question him.

Upon interrogation, it was revealed that Romeo Osei Tutu was not a worker of the facility and had been working at the hospital with the help of his uncle who works at the Ashanti Regional branch of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

He has however been handed over to the Police for further interrogation.
