Faith Ministry presents learning materials to schools

Prophet Prince Kofi Okyere, President of the Faith Anointing International Ministry, has encouraged parents to take an active interest in the education of their children to enable them to grow to become useful citizens.

He said education played a very important role in the socio-economic development of the nation, therefore, everything possible must be done to support children to realize their dreams.

Prophet Okyere gave the advice when the Church presented exercise books and other learning materials valued at Ghc20, 000 to students in some selected communities in the Greater Accra Region, at Pantang- Abokobi, near Madina, on Friday.

The communities are Pantang, Abokobi, Oyarifa, Teiman, Madina, Dodowa, East Legon, Haatso and Achimota.

The rest are Oyibi, Ashiyie, Amanfrom, Adenta, Abeka-Lapaz, Shiashie, Dzorwulu, Pokuase and Amasaman.

Prophet Okyere, who is also the Founder of the Church, said the presentation of the items formed part of the social responsibilities of the church.

He said the church had acquired a large tract of land at Pantang-Abokobi to put up a school and a hospital to cater for the educational and the health needs of the poor and the needy in the community.

The Prophet said the donation would be extended to other communities in some selected regions next year.

Prophet Okyere advised the children to take their lessons seriously and be obedient to enable them to achieve their aims.
