‘Failed’ students burn text books at St. Martin’s JHS

Some learning materials and documents belonging to the Saint Martin’s Junior High School in the Wassa East District capital of Daboase, have been set on fire by some aggrieved students.

Teachers’ note books among other documents were completely burnt to ashes.

Personnel from the Bureau of National Investigation have however launched investigations into the incident.

The School’s Headmaster Joseph Benjamin Gordon, said he suspects some aggrieved students who were repeated in their previous classes are those behind the arson attack.

“They burnt teacher’s notebooks, art books and science text books belonging to some students. So we are only saying that they maybe students, we are still investigating to get the culprits”.

The headmaster explained to XYZ News that one of the students was repeated because they failed to meet the pass mark set by the school.
