Eye examination for security personnelin Volta

Hohoe, Feb. 3, GNA- The St John Wilson Optical Center at Hohoe will be offering free eye examination to all members of the security services in the Volta Region.

Mr. Mohammed Kamil, Optometrist of the center, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Friday said personnel of the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service and the Bureau of National Investigations were expected to benefit from the offer.

He said the offer, valid for February, this year only, was to show appreciation to the security personnel for working hard to ensure peace in the country and to motivate them to improve upon their performances. Mr. Kamil said it was the center’s contribution to the celebration of 50 years of Ghana’s independence.

He said the health of security personnel should be taken seriously to enable them work efficiently.
