ExplainerDC Ghana recently started its office in Ghana. Its mission statement has much in common with the aim of the Excellence Comity. ExplainerDC feels that not only economic reasons can make up the basis for what may well be the first Dutch-Ghanaian e-business bureau. It sees the Internet as an opportunity from which every country, company, or individual should be able to benefit. ‘Bridging the digital gap’ and creating challenging jobs for young Ghanaians is the first step. Through a commercial business with an idealistic nature and the motivation of young professionals, we can help to shape the Internet branch in Ghana.

In addition to carrying out assignments, Explainer DC Ghana Ltd. is also undertaking social activities. For instance the children of the Osu Home school who are getting acquainted with the Internet at the Explainer DC office. Furthermore the employers from Explainer DC Amsterdam are sharing their knowledge with young Ghanaian professionals through ‘on the job training’. Being voted Peoples Choice is one of the first steps towards our goal and our shared believe in the ‘global economy’ and Ghana being part of it.
