Even God will reject me if I want to be a pastor – Kofi Jumah

When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” After Jesus has turned the water into wine, the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from but testify that, that was the best wine ever at the feast.

Such best wines are what the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, claims to drink but not local gin ‘Akpeteshie’ as claimed.

According to him, he was shocked to have read a publication about him being a “lover of Akpeteshie”, booze he has not consumed before.

Mr. Jumah waded into an obvious mistake by Metropolitan Chief Executive of Accra, saying if indeed he (Oko Vanderpuije) re-named the hockey stadium after the late President Mills, because of his love for the game, then, he should name him after his favourite beer.

Ironically, The Herald’s information from Mr. Jumah’s residence at Atonsu-Kumasi in the Ashanti Region reveals that Mr. Jumah aka Kofi Ghana is a lover of local gin “Apio” also known as “Akpeteshie”.

Mr. Jumah was also fingered for his sexual escapade and a Casanova from Pokuase ACP Estates near Amasaman where he resides in Accra.

In a shrill response on Adom FM, controversial Kofi Jumah opined that he will not pretend to be a ‘saint’ whiles within he knows his capabilities.

He categorically stated that never on earth will he respond to the call as a man of God when there is many to merry as a mere person on earth rather than being a pastor.

“Good and tasteful things is what I like. I will never be a pastor. I love tasteful things both in my mouth and under (private part). Even God will reject me if I want to be a pastor…I can never be a pastor. I will never pretend to be holier than thou.

“…I heard I drink Akpeteshie, I drink alcohol, but I don’t drink Akpeteshie. Though some friends and family were worried about the publication, I giggled over it. I have never tasted Akpeteshie in my entire life. If I found myself at the chief palace and dry gin is being served, I will not hesitate to taste it…but I don’t drink Akpeteshie. I suck good quality liquor from the top of the shelf,” he noted.
