Establish Ministry of Police Affairs- NGOs appeal

Accra, Dec 27, GNA – The Network of Associations of Registered Non-Governmental Organisations in Ghana, has appealed to President John Evans Atta Mills to consider the establishment of a Ministry of Police Affairs to help boost the morale of officers in the Police Service.

The Network said in a statement signed and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) by Mr. Kofi Lucas, the National President in Accra on Monday said the creation of the Ministry would send a signal to local and foreign investors that Government and the nation placed value and premium on security.
