Establish Basic and Senior Secondary Schools in Atwima – Chief

Abuakwa (Ash), Dec 1, GNA – Nana Akosa Brempong II, Chief of Abuakwa in the Atwima District, has appealed to the Ghana Baptist Convention to establish basic and senior secondary schools in the Atwima area.

He told the GNA at the weekend that with rapid population increase at Abuakwa and its environs, the demand for education had become very high.

Nana Akosah Brempong said besides giving them quality education, the pupils could benefit from the religious and moral training that they would receive.

He pledged his preparedness to release a large tract of land to the church to construct the schools anytime the church made the request.
