Koforidua, May 16, GNA – The Eastern Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned the vandalization of the Upper Manya constituency office of the party by some aggrieved youth in the area.
A statement issued and signed by Alhaji Sumaila Mahama, regional vice- chairman of the party, said 93the secretariat expresses its complete displeasure at the turn of events and condemns such dubious acts of vandalism.”
“In this modern democratic dispensation where we jaw-jaw and follow laid down procedures in settling grievances as enshrined in the party’s constitution we expect every individual who share in the ideology of the NDC to adhere to those laid down rules,” it said.
It said in view of the growing indiscipline among some youth, the regional secretariat had constituted an emergency committee to look into events that led to such act.
