Ephson is a beneficiary of a corrupt and stinking gov’t – Obiri Boahene

Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahene says Pollster Ben Ephson is a beneficiary of a corrupt NDC government, hence it is not surprise the latter’s latest election polls was in favour of incumbent John Mahama.

He said the NPP still remained focus to win the December 7 polls and won’t be swayed by an NDC sponsored election polls conducted by Ben Ephson who he said feeds from the pot of a stinking government.

Speaking on GH One’s State of Affairs programme Monday, Obiri Boahene said the party places no premium on polls with just 8 days away to the general elections, indicating that his party will only push hard with a vigorous campaign to crown the NPP’s victory in this years elections.

The managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper in his recent election polls predicted that the NDC candidate will outstrip the major opposition NPP candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo with a 52.4% win as against the latter’s 45.9% votes.

Although the NPP had called it a false prediction, Ephson who says he’s unshaken by the tantrums thrown at him from elements within the elephant family defended the accuracy of his report insisting that just like previous polls, the latest research is consistent with past ones and valid.

Ephson, however angered by the unsavoury remarks from Obiri Boahene over his election polls vented his spleen on the Deputy General Secretary of the NPP and referred to him as a “fool”.
