EPA organizes workshop for food sellers

Bunso, (E/R), July 9, GNA – More than 300 chop-barkeepers, hawkers, food sellers, bakers and ice water sellers have benefited from a day’s workshop organized by the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) to sensitise them on food and personal hygiene at Bunso.

The participants, who were drawn from both the Fanteakwa and East Akim districts were taken through environmental sanitation, food and nutrition, personal hygiene, human relationship and capacity building. The participants were drawn from Asiakwa, Bunso, Osino, Nsutam, Anyinam, Tafo, Osiem, Dwenase and Saamang .

The participants expressed appreciation to the organizers and appealed for more of such workshops in the future to enable them to improve on their working conditions.

A resource person, Mr Kwakye Appiah urged the participants to put into practice what they have learnt. At the end certificates of participation were given to the participants.
