Ensure quality service in hospitality industry – Lordina

First lady Lordina Mahama has urged managers in the hospitality industry to ensure quality in their operations.

According to her, quality service is the key to a booming hospitality industry in the country.

Mrs. Mahama was speaking at the 45th anniversary and 42nd graduation ceremony of Flair Catering Services, on the theme: improving delivery of services in the hospitality industry.

The first lady cautioned that unprofessional practices should not be allowed to dent the image of the sector.

“Delivering quality services is one of the major challenges facing the hospitality industry. It is an essential condition for success, and we cannot afford to continue to allow unprofessionalism to dent the image of the sector,” She noted.

Lordina Mahama, who is an old student of Flair Catering Services, said training in catering and the professional grooming at the institute offers a great platform in today’s booming hospitality industry in Ghana.

She congratulated Flair Catering for the wonderful training it has offered and continues to offer to the young people of Ghana.

For her part, the Executive Chairman of Flair Catering Services, Barbara Baeta, noted that the Flair vision continues to be focused primarily on the provision of excellent, elegant and high quality catering services that have become its hallmark to its clients and society as a whole.

A total of 42 graduates were awarded certificates and prizes.
