Energy Minister to contest Bosomtwe parliamentary seat

Kuntanase (Ash), Sept. 20, GNA – Dr Joseph Oteng Adjei, the Minister for Energy, has filed his nomination forms to contest the Bosomtwe parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

This is the fourth time he would be contesting the seat which has traditionally remained loyal to the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr Kwame Amankwah, the NDC Constituency Chairman, said he was hopeful that things were going to change in the 2012 polls and that they were leaving nothing to chance and working hard to make this happen.

He said being the ruling political party the people in the constituency have realized that their needs would be better served when they are represented in parliament by an NDC member.

“This is why they would vote massively for both our presidential and parliamentary candidates”, he said
