Energy crises hit 6th Ghana International Trade fair opening.

For a second time in one hour, the Ghana International Trade Fair venue for the 6th Ghana International Trade Fair experienced power outages confirming exhibitors fears of continuos energy supply at the fair grounds. The first power outage which lasted for almost 40 minutes could not be explained by the authorities of the trade fair. They are however, saying they are constant contact with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and are promising exhibitors that things will get better. Meanwhile, some of the exhibitors have threatened to take the organizers to task if they do not honour their promises. The 6th Ghana International Trade Fair opened in Accra today, with about 400 companies participating in the fair. Of the number 120 are foreign companies from the US, Sweden, Britain, Canada among others.
