Enact ‘Major Mahama law’ to end lynching – NPP communicator

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communication Team, Asamoah Gyenfi, has called on Parliament to enact what he calls the “Captain Mahama law” to punish perpetrators of mob justice.

Speaking on Atinka TV’s morning show, “Ghana Nie” hosted by Bismark Brown Tuesday, the NPP communicator said the only way to end such public attacks (mob action) is for the country to pass laws that will punish offenders severely.

Asamoah Gyenfi added that naming such laws after the fine army officer will be the best legacy for him and his family.
