Emmanuel Ohene Boafo on his way to Hollywood

Emmanuel Ohene Boafo, a rising movie star in the Netherlands, critics predicts is on his way to Hollywood. In his current epic movie “ Exit”. The Ghanaian born Dutch acted nothing short of Hollywood Standards. He took on the lead role in one of the Telefilms batch 2013 on Netherlands 2 and rose into a class on his own.
The film Directed by, Boris Paval Conen reconstructs (“First Mission”, “The Secrets of Barslet”) the shocking events of a night in which an expansion of five failed Guinean asylum seekers completely went out of hand. Reviews compare his role to the likes of Omar Epps’s role in the deadly voyage and the Like of Samuel L Jackson
The movie was screen at “the Movies that Matter Film Festival” (21-27 March 2013) in The Hague. Following a popular request, the film was showed on national television on March 23, 2013 at 20:20 pm in Netherlands. The massive exposure turned Emmanuel into a movie superstar overnight. He has since received numerous reviews and interviews from pundits and the movie industry. He is tipped to sweep some awards at the Netherlands Film Festival 2013, the Dutch version of the Oscars later this year in Utrecht.
